Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I find out what is the highest bid to date?
A: No. You cannot find out what others have bid. Our Auctions are “silent”, so you need to bid at a price you are happy to pay, knowing that the item will sell to the highest bidder equal to or above the item’s reserve or an agreed price by the Vendor.
Q: Is there a charge for bidding or buying? A: Only if your bid is successful - a small fee (see Buyers premium) applies to all successful bids and purchase prices.
Q: What if I want to cancel or decrease the bid I have submitted? A: You cannot cancel or decrease your bid once it has been submitted to the Tender Centre.
Q: What if I want to increase my bid? A: You can increase your bid by submitting a higher bid at any time before the tender process ends. Q: When do I know if my bid was successful? A: We will contact you or you can contact us on the next business day following the close of the tender process.
A: You need to pay for and collect your goods within the specified times. If you do not collect your goods within the specified time we may charge you a fee.
Q: What Warranty or Guarantee do I have? A: There is no warranty or guarantee implied or entered into. Please check all items before bidding on them or purchasing items. A 24 hour testing period is offered for items, unable to be tested, to enable returns if required.
